Some of my favorite memories of 2014 have been: watching my daughter Jaime Kalman Chipko become the finest mother I have ever seen, watching my grandkitten Olivia grow and learn to walk; hosting one of the premiere screenings for Day of the Gun, getting interviewed by Steel Notes Magazine; developing a wonderful friendship with Marie Currie and acquiring two of her priceless ornamental guitars; meeting my idol John Ford Coley at a terrific performance in Annapolis, MD; talking to Olivia Hussey-Eisley on the telephone at ease (to die for, Im saying); getting to play William Walters and family with three wonderful and amazing actors; watching my friend Heather Perrine Shreve manifest both a beautiful book and a screenplay in 10 months; watching the artistic growth of some of my favorite creative people such as Michele LaFong, Connie C Lamothe, Johnny Alonso, Chris Kalman, Jaime Kalman Chipko, Thom Eric Sinn, Marie Currie, Samantha Rasmussen Grant, William B. Davis, Alan Riehl Writer-Editor and my uber friend Ginny Scales-Medeiros ... to name a few. And I have met many new casting directors and people in the business through my great agents Anthony Schiano, Sylvia D Hutson, Sarah Gordon Howell, Scott Goodhue and Mary Anne Claro, who have stuck with me through thick and thin... no easy feat, Ill tell you. AND, last but not least, being supported by so many incredible friends all over the World who have buoyed me up when the tide was out and kept my sails ready to unfurl when the time was right. :)
