Somehow amidst all of the hype and see their name everywhere, I never got around to listening to Alvvays. Truthfully, I saw the two vv thing and like a closed-mind self-confirming cynic, chose not to listen to them. Anyhow, after getting lost youtubing through Spoon, Operators, Divine Fits, KEXP, I saw them and decided Id give it a shot. I really like it! Great earnest pop, shoegazey, sweet corn.
