Someone posted this excellent reference on the nuclear demolition of the WTC complex on 911. I got into a somewhat heated debate about this on Google+ (as some people are flat out ignorant and cannot be brought to see the white wall when their media told them it was blue). Nevertheless, the subject of the magic fairy dust known in conspiracy circles as...nano-thermite AND the other incredible science fiction fantasy theory of the directed energy weapon (DEW) came up. Though, I am open to the cutting charge theory because of video evidence that Ive seen over the years, the nano-thermite could NOT have been used for the complete demolition of the complex because it would have required that the entire building, both inside and out be coated with the stuff. Every man, woman, cell phone, computer, paper, copier, floor joist, pillar, beam, wall, ceiling, carpet, ceiling tile, window, EVERYTHING both within and without had to be coated to desiccate the structure so completely. Its absurd! The rest of this concerns the DEW theory noted above. I have spent some time explaining why it could not be the case but here I have derived mathematically, just why it could NOT be... youtube/watch?v=Lec9giab90I If his calculations, of approximately 150 KTONs at 50 Meters beneath the lowest level of the building, are correct...then it would require around 350 GW delivered consistently for 12 seconds (the time it took for the buildings to come down from the detonation). I know this, because I just calculated it. A typical nuclear power plant delivers around 900 MW/day. Rounding this up to 1000MW (for conservatism), wed need 350 nuclear plants in the surrounding area to get to 350GW/day. That translates to 0.139 MW in 12 seconds. So, in order to direct enough energy into the building structure to equal a 150 KTON nuclear blast, you would require...2506.6 nuclear power plants rated at 1000MW/day for 12 seconds. And you would have to place those plants within a few miles of ground zero to be able to drive that much energy across an existing electrical distribution network. The voltage levels in a major city like NY are dialed down quite a bit. Id be surprised if NYC levels (Con Edison) are larger than 66kV in the outlying areas. Though, its probably closer to 13.8kV (or less in the inner city), well use the higher voltage for conservatism, in which case, youd have a current (amperage) profile approaching 2600A. This could be done with enough paralleling of cable. But where are you going to put (2500) Twenty Five Hundred 1000MW nuclear power plants? Irregardless, its safe to say, that they dont exist. I am hereby declaring the DEW (directed energy weapon...or raygun) theory as nothing but a poorly contrived THEORY on par with the fairy dust known as nano-thermite AND unicorns. Ive done the math. Its no longer a debate.
