Sometimes my child was bad in public. Not often, but every once in awhile. I have to ask though, how often does spanking your child in public as a form of discipline work? I would say if you have to smack them more than once its not working. Also, maybe they dont want to sit in a shopping cart or stroller for 3 hours (or longer) while you mentally shut them out ... I sure wouldnt like it. Maybe theres another form of punishment? Like if you dont straighten up Im going to take you to the car for a spanking? That would scare me .. Truly. I wanted to punch a lot of moms & dads in the face earlier. Worried about all those poor kids that did absolutely nothing to deserve the public humiliation .. Must be awful at home. I dont even want to hear the feedback, i believe in spankings but not beatings. .. One mom punched her kid in the face. Slight exaggeration, it did made contact and looked REALLY bad. The kid was cranky. Im like *jaw dropped* that did not just happen .. Take him home dont beat him! (Obviously this is still on mind ... I really do feel bad for a few kids today)
