Sometimes you have to admit defeat. Despite knitting as tight as possible, with a fine yarn on small needles I just cannot get the bobble cardy as small as a 31 inch bust without a major rewrite of the pattern, so I have persuaded my customer her tiny frame will look perfect in this cardigan from the 1940s, which one of my knitters has done before. My customer has chosen burgundy. I am actually going to knit a tension square first this time!
