Soooo, got this letter today from the Teachers Health Trust stating that Southern Hills Hospital billed $19,435 for my scope knee surgery. Really. Im going to say that non-profit health insurance is getting robbed, along with everyone else. I was there a total of maybe 7 hours? And half of the time I was sleeping in the coldest room ever, completely passed out from either boring television or anesthetics that hit me like a ton of bricks. I am glad I have insurance, but for those people who do not, I would seriously never pay the bill. I have been there before and think it is all a scam.
