How often do we allow our minds to become cluttered up with the thoughts of what others may think of us or sometimes very obviously do think of us? Its one thing to be compassionate and care for others feelings and how we treat others, but its another thing to allow others feelings towards us dictate how we view ourselves or even them for that matter. If we spend our time concerned about what someone or someones think of us we are likely to miss out on how God sees us and who we truly are in Him. We need to aim to please God not people and the rest will take care of itself. Its also easy to become quite judgemental of others if were busy worrying about them thinking or assuming things of us, perhaps in the assumption we are doing the very thing we hope they arent of us. SO - the quote above is perfect. We need to let God work on our behalf and be more concerned with pleasing Him than the opinions of the world around us. Happy Wednesday, keep on, keepin on.
