Speaking people eating...I found a cool app which is free called lose it. I had one to monitor my cholesterol since I stopped taking those evil statins and I want to keep a close eye on my intake. I was using cholesterol manager which I paid 2.99 for. It work okay but had some bugs I did not like. Since I had the cart ahead of my horse...I decided what the hell,,,try something else. Lose it is free and while the manager was sort of the same...there are some glaring differences. With the manager it took awhile to find the food then log it. Once you logged lets say...my carrot tofu soup and at 2 cups. If you want to add it later it is still there but it is stuck at 2 cups. Maybe this time you just want one cup. So with lose it it stays in your foods but each time you can change the amount and in doing so...lose it adjust all the nutrients for that portion. With the manager, some foods I could not find so had to put them in manually. That is time consuming but with lose it...lets say you want to eat that can of soup...go to foods then tap the barcode thingy. It has a barcode scanner...cool huh? scan it and the portion is there along with all the other bad and good stuff...fats, sodium etc...adjust your portion and tap add. You add it to either breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack. This one has a paid version but the added features are something I have no use for. The free version is free of ads, nag screens, or the person next to you telling you not to eat that. To start you put in you stats and how much weight you want to lose. the max is 2 pounds a week. It lets you know when you are reaching your max for the day. Like I said earlier...I wanted something to log the cholesterol intake and this does that....and much more. and did I mention it is free? loseit/
