Spent time after work playing with two baby ferrets at the pet store. Was tempted, but didnt end up with either or both. Still, it was equally difficult and pleasant to cuddle ferrets again. Got them a toy before I left. It was a dollar, and ferret babies need toys. Told the store to give it to whoever buys the ferret with brown britches. (Hes a panda, might be deaf.) The staff was probably working on me, hoping for a sale, but kept remarking on how well the babies took to me. I just didnt have a spare 350 bucks, which would be what two ferret babies would cost (not counting vet bills, but counting the cheapest hammocks, treats, toys, and a spare litter pan). So tempted. I miss Murphy ever day.
