Srinagar Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched an All India Inter-School Quiz with a view to create awareness and interest about the history and role of RBI, about banking, finance, other banking institutions, economics, current affairs, personalities, events that have contributed to the growth and progress of the country over the years. According to the official statement, the quiz is aimed to build a connect between RBI and the young student community enrolled in schools across the country and achieve extensive dissemination of financial literacy. It will also be an opportunity for recognizing and encouraging bright young students on a national platform. Among the 44 locations across the country, Srinagar has been chosen as one of the locations. On completion of initial rounds at all the 44 locations, the Zonal Finals for each zone will be held, followed by the National Final wherein two winning teams from each of the Zonal Finals will take part. The quiz will be organised at Srinagar on July 16, 2013 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm at Government College for Women, Maulana Azad Road, Srinagar.
