St. Georges church, Goltho, Lincolnshire was gutted by fire late in 2013, believed to have been caused by a lightning strike. Skillingtons were commissioned to carry out post-fire stabilisation works and to oversee a temporary roof construction early in 2014 and have been monitoring the site on behalf of the Churches Conservation Trust ever since. Hopefully 2015 will bring positive news for the future of this lovely little church.
