Stacy: Tripp is doing good. Getting some kisses from Mimi. He woke up once we think due to pain even with the epidural. So they gave him some stronger meds through his IV and he is asleep again. His heart rate is on the high side and he still needs a little help with oxygen. But after being under for seven hours yesterday, I am not surprised. He temp did drop pretty low so they brought in a heating blanket and turned up the heat. So of course I am sitting here sweating but thats ok. So they are leaving the epidural in till tomorrow for sure, maybe longer depending on how he is doing with pain. We are not sure when we will be going home. They said Friday evening would be earliest. (If I was a betting man, I would say Saturday or even Sunday) But at the moment, he is good and seems to be pain free. Just a tad of moaning here and there. The Drs told us that there is no way to take all his pain away during his healing. It was a major surgery. We will just have to keep him as comfy as possible at home. The recovery is a good four weeks. Thank you for all your prayers and support. Especially today. Two yr anniversary. Wow. (Its already 11 oclock this is about the time the accident happened)
