Starting off with a dozen divers for Day 1, the 2014 Whyalla - TopicsExpress

Starting off with a dozen divers for Day 1, the 2014 Whyalla Cuttlefish Dive was indeed (and still is as I type) a great success. With absolute perfect diving conditions, i.e. sunshine, clarity of the water, and yes, even the forecasted chilly water temperature was for all bearable enough to make us all eager to go back in for a second look. Okay, so the numbers of cuttles were down due to it being late in the season (possibly plan for a month or so sooner come 2015?), but that didnt detract from the pure incredible experience of being there and up so close to these strange looking creatures. And of course, despite quite a few of us opting to go home before sundown and not take part in todays dive, there was the social side of the event and given the great crew that went along, Friday night at the cottage was also fantastic fun and at times very (cornflakes) silly. So without further ado, heres some pix with even more to follow from other Divers Delight members and then therell be a full report in the September issue of The Viz. Huge thx to Marti for organising the trip. Enjoy! :-)
