Starting the wayback machine going back to November 21,1998. Reading the morning paper and having a cup of coffee when for some reason I opened the want ads. Havent looked at them in many years. Then I saw it, Greyhound, Free to good home. Janie called and left a message and later thatevening we got a call beck. Made an appointment to go over the following day. Long sad story as to the why so wont go there but needless to say the next day we loaded up Lola and went over to see the houndie. It came to pass that We got a new one. Vinka, Lady is a Ribone. Janie still says that she is the most unique anniversary present she has ever received. The most strikeingly beautiful grey I have ever seen. She and Lola bonded is such a manner I could have never thought. They did everything together. When Lola died we almost lost Vinka. It took several years for her to come back all of the way. She and the pack made 4 trips to Cherry Hill, NJ for the AOL gang picnics, 4 trips to Dewey Beach and 2 trips to Mountain Hounds. We lost her in Feb., 2007 at the age of 12 yrs 10 mts. The picture doesnt do her justice.
