State prison officials say inmates at the Maryland Correctional Institution near Hagerstown are beginning the process of preparing 350 turkeys for an annual Thanksgiving charity dinner in Baltimore. The frozen turkeys arriving at the prison Thursday will be thawed, cooked and carved at the Maryland Correctional Enterprises Meat Plant. Theyll be eaten at the Bea Gaddy Family Centers Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 27.
