Stewart has a talent for making us laugh at, and question the powers that be. He was so right in his observations in this segment. And yet, when Im done laughing, Im depressed about where our country is headed, because of the people who run it, both in the public and the private sectors. And then the culture and mainstream have become so corrupted and amoral, that it becomes quite discouraging. Hope only becomes reignited when I come into contact with some of my fellow Americans who are still good, decent people. But then, I wonder, if there are enough of us to make a difference. By us, I mean those who are concerned with their fellow man, play fair, and treat others with respect and dignity. I hope we change our course, and that We the people, still matter and are strong enough in will and number to make a difference. And then I pour myself a glass of wine...
