~ Still on the fence about joining Cooking for Balance? Read this. ~ If you are still on the fence about joining Cooking for Balance, I want to share a few thoughts with you. There are 7 common reasons I hear why people are still thinking about doing the program: -> Reason #1: “I already have so many cookbooks and recipes.” My response: I hear you. Most of us do. The question is: are you eating what agrees with your body? You see, if you have an intolerance to, for example, eggs or tomatoes (very common and most often overlooked), you will still be feeling “off.” In Cooking for Balance, I not only teach what to eat but also how to know if the food you eat agrees with you. Our recipes are simple and many of them are under 30 minutes. We focus on flavor and nutritional value – something that is unique to this program. You will also be getting instructional videos and we will be adding more of them every month! Needless to say, books don’t add pages! -> Reason #2: “A cookbook only costs me $29, why pay more?” Recipes are just a small part of the program – we will focus on techniques - the proverbial “learning how to fish” and not just “getting the fish.” Cookbooks don’t teach that. You will also get instructional videos and Done-for-You protocols that are tailor-made to specific hormonal imbalances. This is very unique. The program also delivers live classes (Class #1 starts on Wednesday November 5th) and interaction – we will be making food together! We are what we eat and this applies to hormonal health as well. But will you? In my experience people just dont. Why? Because this field is VAST and DEEP and CONFUSING/CONTRADICTING. Or maybe because the foggy brain makes things hard to process, prioritize and implement. Part of what makes this program so great is that I take all complexity and distill it into small, easy, and actionable steps. I felt the same way, too. I sat down one day and calculated that I’ve invested just over $42,000 in doctors, therapies, supplements, books, DVD, online courses and live conferences over the past 7 years. What I’m really good at is distilling vast and complex amounts of knowledge to what you really need to know based on your situation. Was any one thyroid book, hormone book, online summit or course complete to heal me and my clients with more complex cases? Absolutely not. Like I said, I’m good at filtering out what you need to know so you don’t spend the time and energy on things you don’t need to know. So yes, I hear you, totally! But, has anyone helped you with food that will help your hormones? In Cooking for Balance, you will learn about the 30 healing foods and then add them to your daily recipes. But then, many people “eat well” and they still don’t feel great. Most often this is due to not eating what their body needs. Take eggs as an example – they can be a wonderful source of proteins for some or a source of eczema, acne, jitters, brain fog, etc. for others. In Cooking for Balance, you will learn how to listen to your body and eat what your body truly needs and loves. Plus, we make things simple and fast. I’ve never been a fan of spending too much time in the kitchen so I don’t expect you to either. -> Reason #7: I cant afford it. My response: I understand... Those investments paid off the biggest - every. single. time.
