Students participating in ECOWEEK workshops will have a chance to collaborate also with Thomas Kauertz from Germany. It´s so simple, just do it, this is one of the key notes from Architect Thomas Kauertz, since 2000 assistant lecturer at the HAWK (University of Applied Sciences and Arts) in Hildesheim / Germany. He encourages the students to think outside of the box and attempt more unique and unusual designs. Many of the projects he conducted starts with the aim to build at the end. Nothing is apparently impossible: Bunsenfactory - student housing in Hildesheim, a design project by students for students financed by a general contractor. Mobile_Bildungs_Box, a multidisciplinary project for students from different fields such as Interior Architecture, Architecture, Civil & Wood Construction Engineering and an art school class with the aim to build a temporary wooden event pavilion in only 4 weeks.
