Support The Call For Kogi Central Endorse Jonathan For 2015 In the dictionary of almighty God, ‘there is thank you’. With billions of people in the world, if God actualized the dream of someone, the person needs to appreciate it as that same God can resolve to bless another person in the next door without being questioned. As the saying goes, this is why we need to recognize and commend him most of the time for the purpose of spurring him to do more for us. As I have said, we must ready to appreciate human being when we receive good thing from people. We need to reciprocate the good work, acknowledge, commend and being supportive of the person to ginger his spirit in order to continue the good work as the case of Goodluck Jonathan, President of the country to the people of Kogi central. You could recalled that since the creation of Kogi state, Kogi central and Ebira race in particular have not had the opportunity of producing Minister of federal republic of Nigeria and during President Jonathan’s administration, we have one. Aside appointment person from Kogi central as Minister, we have had it so good to the level that many of our men and women were placed in juicy positions of authority in the country and these recognitions have not been given to the people Kogi central since the history of Nigeria independence. The group Managing Director of Nigerian national Petroleum Commission (NNPC) exclusively reserved for person from certain ethnic group in the country in the time past, the present government led by President Jonathan considered one of own for it. Though, some school of thoughts might posit that Eng. Austin Oniwon got it on merit as it was a civil servant matter. I want to remind my reader that the same President can decide to by-pass Engineer Austin Onowin just like what was obtainable in the time past and by choosing another person in the lower rank as NNPC helmsman and nobody can question him for that. President Jonathan being a man of the people, a man of conscience considered person from Kogi central as sole administrator of Ajaokuta steel company, a position Ebira person last tasted 25 years ago. President Jonathan for the concern he has for the growth of Youths in the country established 6 federal universities at a goal of which Kogi state benefited. This has eased admission process for those seeking university admissions in the country. Aside giving federal university to the people of Kogi state, the same president Jonathan considered one of our own, Ebira woman, a person from Kogi central, the Registrar of the university. During President Jonathan’s administration, one of our illustrious Sons, Alhaji Ataba was made the deputy clerk of the senate. This is a big deed for the people of Kogi central and I am right to say that there is no administration since the history of Nigeria has accorded such recognition to Ebira race unlike President Jonathan. The present deputy group Managing Director of NNPC, a woman I can’t recalled her name while writing this article is equally Ebira person, one from Kogi central. All these good things to Kogi central happened under GEJ led government. Abuja-Lokoja-Okene road which has been a death trap causing the death of hundred of road users every day, President Jonathan ensured its completion. We should know that Ebira as a nation has something to hold unto in view of what I have enumerated which President Jonathan has done for us thus necessitating the call for Kogi Central Youths to endorse him for 2015. We should not be carried away by propaganda of ethnic, religious bigot beclouded by self-centered interest polluting minds of people that President Jonathan has achieved nothing since he assumed government. If one tells you President Jonathan had done nothing, it is a pure fallacy and orchestrated attempt to kill the vision of the good man for the country. You can attest to the fact that performance is practical and not theory. He has done something which I and you are enjoying today and this is why we you need to buy into my call to endorse him. We must not to wait till President Jonathan start sharing bread, Akara, apapa to each individual person of this nation before we attest to his good performance. He has done a lot. There is a saying that the devil you know is better than the angel you don’t know. We have seen the performance of President Jonathan and he has shown to the people of Kogi central that he means well for us and so he deserves our endorsement. Other ethnic group have been coming up endorsing President Jonathan ahead of 2015 on what he has done for them. I, who happen to be one of the progressive Youths in ebiraland, deem it fit that there is urgent need for the entire progressive Youths of ebiraland to toll along the line of other progressive Youths in Nigeria by endorsing Jonathan for 2015 in view of what he has done for us. I want to make it clear that we shall use the endorsement to remind him to see to the resuscitation of Ajaokuta steel and Itakpe iron ore, federal government projects situated in our land. This message is just to call on people to support the call to endorse President Jonathan for 2015.
