Surely God is pleased when we expect His best. I think on Kenneth - TopicsExpress

Surely God is pleased when we expect His best. I think on Kenneth Copeland telling the story of when his grandchild almost died. His daughter (the childs mother) wouldnt let ANYONE…the doctors, nurses, visitors, family, etc. speak negative, prophetic words of death over her child. Although they heard the medical facts and figures; although they were appreciative and cooperative with medical treatments, the prognosis belonged ONLY to the Lord. Hallelujah, I agree with that! I think on Gods traits and it hits me anew that He is the very author of life, health, healing and hope. It makes me realize that to expect good from God…even in the worst of situations….should be our natural expectation. I think on when Jesus walked on water and Peter did too….for a while…. until he looked at the storm and feared, instead of focusing on the Savior. After saving Peter, Jesus said Why did you doubt? Sometimes we hesitate to ask prayer partners to stand in agreement with us for walking on water miracles. We fear we will be judged as naive, In denial, a holy roller or unintellectual. (maybe thats just pride??) But the Bible is clear; we are told 365 times to Fear Not. So I continue to ask for walk on water miracle claiming prayers for Daddy. I ask my prayer partners not to look at the storm, but to look at the Savior and stand in agreement.
