TBM TRUMPET CALL 2014-03-30 “And He is the Head of the Body, the Church: Who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the pre-eminence.” ~ COLOSSIANS 1:18 FOR PROGRESS: THE BODY SHOULD ALIGN AND AGREE WITH THE HEAD The ostrich is the biggest bird on earth unfortunately probably the dumbest. When it sees danger it hides its head in the sand thinking it is safe and in hiding {Please see God’s assessment of ostriches in Lamentations 4:3}. Therefore its skin is wonderful for shoes, bags straps or belts; very nice. But, what would be inappropriate is for anyone to do the same; that is to pretend or be in denial that God will agree with anyone when they resolve to ignore Him and His warnings. We give glory and strength to God by aligning ourselves with Him in His plans and purposes {Psalm 29:1-2}. The only power God’s enemy has on this earth and in the heavens over our earth is the disobedience of man. Every single devil or demon plus Satan has been defeated by Jesus Christ and the authority he once had over man and this earth has been recovered from him {Colossians 2:14-15}. The only power he now possesses is the works of the flesh, the works of the devil; that is, things done under the inspiration of the devil {1 John 3:8}. We can bring God’s influence down on earth in every facet of life. It starts with obeying and cooperating with God “IN FULL,” that is, by doing what we have written about obedience, preached and taught people to do. The source of his power is everything untrue that we believe including our insistence on obeying Old Covenant laws that Jesus does not mediate in. The devil’s power is found in self-will; that is, knowing the truth and insisting on disregarding it. This includes the unholy alliance between law and grace. With this in place, the devil smiles into God’s face every day with glee at the apparent disregard for God after having learnt the truth. People may be happy with this state or opiate of the law, but whatever gives the devil power and makes him happy must surely and naturally grieve God. We have been given Christ’s power and His word to address the works that empower the enemy, whether it is the ignorance of trusting anointing oils and holy waters more than we trust the Holy Spirit Himself or every self-righteous act in our quest for obedience. Every imagination, counsel, tokens, altars, idols etc; that are the works of the devil has been given into our hands and we are to exercise dominion. But no man has been given any right or power over any man’s will; soul, spirit or body and to put people under curses. God’s tradition is obedience to Jesus Christ and all that Jesus paid for with his blood. We should quit politicking and mind games with God and His purposes. Jesus Christ is the Mediator of the New Covenant {Hebrews 12:24}, He is not in the Old Covenant and would not support what He has abolished {Hebrews 8:13}. Interpretation of God’s word and laws can only be in the Spirit of the New Covenant written in our hearts. But God will say again; “Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest My fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.” {Jeremiah 4:4}. This is a consecration to put away excuses and a conscious decision of the will to obey God. We should stop blaming the devil for listening to him. God gave us the choice to choose Him {please see Jeremiah 21:8}. God will not support what He and the devil knows is false. Our God is a God of love who hates bondage for those whom He has already provided salvation for. His Spirit is for liberty {Isaiah 61:1, 2 Corinthians 3:17}. We may say what does it matter, is not just a little tithe taking? That is exactly what the devil loves and wants to hear. We will have to trust God with His sheep to be faithful with their consciences; we will have to redesign our teachings to produce pure hearts, good consciences and unfeigned faith in people as the true mark of love {1 Timothy 1:5}. God’s people must learn how to hear God’s Spirit and be led in every area of their lives by His Spirit {Romans 8:14}. This is the New Covenant way and the root or foundation of it working. Any form of legalism is self-righteousness, this short-circuits power. This is what heaven would back in full; a full grace Church. The question to answer is simple. Why do we prefer to be under the curse of the law when it is clearly stated that those under the works of the law are under the curse of the law? {Please see Galatians 3:10} Why do we prefer to tempt God when we know once you are under the law and you break one single law you are guilty of breaking all {James 2:10}. If the first law of circumcision that was unbreakable given to father Abraham has been done away with because its purpose has been fulfilled and its unprofitability {Galatians 5:2}, why then is it more appropriate to put people under curses? God knows this and God’s enemies know it, does that mean we do not know? Please brethren let’s stop tempting God by continuing in any form of denial. We should all repent and whilst at it, it must be with sufficient sorrow. We cannot repent as if we are doing God favours and expect God to accept it. We pray God will speak to every heart. So many of us have been deceived into believing that God is in everything once we see gifts of the Spirit in operation or when we see wonderful edifices that we built using His name, that is in disregard to God’s warnings about equating the temporal trappings to the spiritual. He warned about the thinking that prophesying and operating in gifts of the spirit are signs of God’s pleasure {Please see again Matthew 7:15-25} and Jesus’ assessment of the prosperous Laodicean Church {Please see Revelations 3:14-21}. God’s opponent the devil is not scared of saints casting out demons at all. He enjoys watching God’s people think they are powerful because demons manifests. He knows they can come back at will when we continue in disobedience. He does not mind us preaching and teaching about different mountains, about all the horns of dragons and its meaning from the books of Revelation and Daniel or the different types of anointing as long as we don’t teach about total sanctification that will produce full light, full grace, fullness of God and Christ’s ultimate purpose. We are only able to avenge all disobedience as the Scripture says, when our obedience is complete {2 Corinthians 10:6} This is what the devil will fight tooth and nail to keep God’s people from believing or obeying. But how do we arrive at this elusive lofty unity of faith? • First, we all agree that unity of faith is having faith in the same things. • That unity of faith starts with like-mindedness {1 Corinthians 1:10, Philippians 2:2} • That we are all reading or using the same Bible. • That we are a New Covenant Church • That we know what the New Covenant means. {Hebrews 8:7-13} • That Jesus Christ is the Mediator of that covenant and that He will not mediate in the New Covenant and then mediate in the Old Covenant. • That we all know it is Moses who mediates in the Old Covenant {2 Corinthians 3:14-15, Hebrews 9:19-21,} • The hybrid of the seed, root and foundation of law and grace can never produce the fruit of grace and the fullness of God. • The seed of full grace is required to produce the fruit of full grace. This is the foundation required for a new beginning. This is where the power is. • That we are no more going to mix law with grace or engage in selective obedience. • That if we get this foundation right, then the only One (Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ) who can unite His body will unite it. • That unity of faith is possible and sine qua non to progress in all spheres of life, for the Church, for individuals and nations. • That the devil has no answer to a Church united. • That the Head and the Body can now establish God’s Kingdom on earth. • That power and glory will become a natural sequence and occurrence and the result of a Church united and blessed {Please see Psalm 133}. • Transformation has never and will never be by power or might. If it were, people will boast. • Transformation from total sanctification will be the natural occurrence in Christ body when full grace is in place. • There is none of these above stated points that God will do if we do not do them. These will need and take sacrifices, but the end will be good. • Conviction comes to the conscience; that is the work of the Holy Spirit, the beginning of our journey into God and the foundation of God’s kingdom in the heart of men. If the conscience does not convict any more salvation becomes doubtful. • God’s kingdom is the kingdom of conscience, it is either this or it is not. This was what was not possible before God gave us the Holy Spirit. • The choice presented before us all is between our opinions and ways or the Truth and God’s ways. • Can we dare to believe God enough and prove it by obeying His truths? Prophets and any of the five-fold ministers will have to decide whether they are prophets and minsters of God or prophets and minsters of “THE PEOPLE.” We all have to choose whose side we are on. This word is for God’s watchmen {Please see Ezekiel 3:17-21 and ask the Lord to speak to you} It has never been God’s will for His Church to always need revivals or reformations. It has always been required because we abandoned God and His truths. God has never responded to the unbelief of requesting for signs and wonders before we can believe or verify clearly stated truths in God’s word. Truth has never been a formula. Accusations become accusations when its intentions are accusations. This is a call to look into our hearts and consciences. Disobedience is the only power the devil has over any life. Obedience is holiness and power to man and to God. Love is obedience {John 14:23} and there is no wisdom that can trump obedience {Proverbs 21:30}. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the Churches {Revelations 3:22}. Let’s embrace a new beginning; this is optimism. Have a blessed Sunday. This message is totally in Love
