TESTIMONY: Often times when our faith seems to be challenged and doubt may arise its ugly head, its always a good idea to look back at past victories as to where the Lord came through for us. One such occurrence happened about 9 mths ago as i recieved a call that i was to start a new job assignment out of town the next day that was unexpected. I knew it would be a few days before i recieved a paycheck and i was down to my last two dollars and needed gas for the long trip each day. I went to church that night for a special service we were having when I ran into a good friend and his new wife. Just short of 2 mths earlier, i had preformed their wedding ceremony and i make it a point NEVER to set a fee, if the couple so chooses to bless me thats fine but even then i dont like to recieve it. My friend handed me a envelope with some pictures from the wedding and a $50 bill. I tried to give it back because it was a honor to do the ceremony but they wouldnt have it. It was then the Lord reminded me he has my back and my gas money!! That night i didnt hit the power-ball lottery or was handed the title to a Harley (if you feel lead, i spell my name, RICKE) but i had my need at the time to be met- TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!
