THE DAY UHURU KENYATTA SINGH DECIDED TO PROTECT WILLIAM SAMOEI - TopicsExpress

THE DAY UHURU KENYATTA SINGH DECIDED TO PROTECT WILLIAM SAMOEI ARAP SINGH It doesnt quite matter if the government SINGHS a lie to Kenyans. By now, the whole country knows that William Samoei Ruto is the hitherto mysterious person who grabbed a parcel of land belonging to Langata Road Primary School. What is also evident is that Uhuru Kenyatta, the man whom Kenyans rely on to protect their interests is actually a coward who has realized he cannot score in politics without the alleged land grabber by his side. Which is why he is just too timid to take any decisive action. Infact, that is not the only fact holding back the president from acting constitutionally against Ruto. The Kenyattas themselves have issues with land in this country. Only a couple of days ago, they had their leases on large tracts of land renewed. This, at the expense of the indigeneous people of Taita Taveta who should be making use of the land occupied by the Presidents family for social and economic benefits. Prior to the last Presidential Poll, during a press interview that assembled together all the 8 presidential candidates, the thorny issue revolving around how much land the Kenyatta family owns in Kenya was floated around by the Rt Hon Raila Odinga and a host of other hopefuls. Uhuru Kenyatta circumvented questions with outright lies. Still, a section of tribal Kenyans without comittment to any tangible political ideology went ahead and elected him President, albeit in a questionable election atmosphere. Kenyans should not expect any meaningful policies and strategies to arrest land grabbing from people who themselves are chief land grabbers.
