THE DISPENSATION OF THE LORD ELIJAH. And it shall come to pass, that every soul which will not hear that Prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.” Malachi 4:4 “Remember ye the law of Moses my Servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statues and judgements.” Moses was God in his dispensation , Exodus 4:12, 16; Exodus 7:1. Every priest that stood in the synagogue preached Moses, Acts 15:21. No soul could reject the word of Moses, Hebrews 10:28, Hebrews 12:25. Moses is one of the witnesses: St Matthew 17:1-3, Revelation 11:3-4, Zechariah 4:2-6. ELIJAH IS THE PROPER NAME OF GOD St Matthew 17:10-11 is all the proof we need. Elias is the Greek spelling of ELIJAH. WHO CAN RESTORE ALL THINGS? ONLY GOD Yet many religions teach that John the Baptist was ELIJAH. St Matthew 17:13; St Matthew 11:13-14, here we see ELIAS the Greek spelling of ELIJAH. But in verse 14 Jesus is saying, IF YOU WILL UNDERSTAND IT “RECEIVE IT”. John the Baptist was not the person ELIJAH, St John 1:19-21: They asked John “ARE YOU ELIJAH, AND HE ANSWERED, I AM NOT” But God’s word admonishes that John came in the SPIRIT and POWER of ELIJAH; St Luke 1:17; and so was every Prophet that was sent by God. They must come in the Spirit and Power of ELIJAH. Every Prophet that is sent by God Almighty would come in that same spirit of God. They would not come in the Spirit of a man or another Prophet, but only in the Spirit of God. This takes us to a big point in 2nd Kings 2:9-10; ELISHA who was a Prophet asked ELIJAH to let a double portion of HIS SPIRIT come upon him. This can only mean that ELIJAH is both MAN and GOD. Furthermore, Elisha addressing ELIJAH said to him, “MY FATHER, MY FATHER.” This was no mere repetition, but that Elisha claimed ELIJAH AS HIS SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL FATHER. Stop and think, friends, ELIJHA IS THE ONLY MAN WHO WENT TO HEAVEN BODY AND SOUL, AND IN FLESH AND BLOOD – 2nd Kings 2:11-12 I have heard men and women say, Enoch went to heaven, the same as ELIJAH. They are still searching for that scripture to show me. Friends, ELIJAH IS ABOVE ALL: St John 3:31; Proverbs 30:4. It is important to know that Jesus preached the same name of ELIJAH, on earth: St John 17:3, 6, 11-12, 14, 26.
