HADITHS: Arbaunan Nawawi, Hadiths number 3: On the authority of Ibn 0mar, the son 0mar bin Al-khattab, may Allah be pleased with both, who said; I heard the Messenger of Allah say: ISLAM has been built on five pillars; 1. Testifying that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, 2. Performing the prayers, 3. Paying the Alms, 4. Making the Pilgrimage to the House, 5. Fasting in Ramadan. (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim). THE FIVE PILLARS IN THE BIBLE: 1. Mark, ch12:29 ; Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is: Hear 0 Isreal, the LORD 0ur GOD, the LORD is 0ne. 2. Prayer: Matthew, ch26 v39: He (JESUS) went a little farther and fell on His face and prayed. Luke, ch6 v12. Act, ch16 v16. Mark, ch13 v33:(JESUS said to his desciples) Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. 3. Alms: Luke, ch12 v33:Sell what you have and give Alms. 4. Hajj (Pilgrimage): Hebbrew, ch11 v13: They were strangers and pilgrims on earth. 5. Fasting: Matthew, ch4 v2: And He (JESUS) FASTED forty days and forty nights, after ward He was hungry.
