THE GOOD LIFE John 4:13-14 – “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” A Christian’s life comes from Christ. That is a life with contentment, peace and comfort; that is the good life. To discover the good life, you have to drink at the good fountain. It is impossible to live the good life without goals and objectives because Jesus too had goals and objectives. The Samaritan woman discovered the good fountain and began to live the good life. Jesus pointed her to her future success and wiped away her unworthy past. When you come to God in humility and sincerity and share in His kind of lifestyle – based on positive faith, positive thinking, positive talking and positive acting - you discover a new goal, a new purpose and a new power. These principles will anchor you throughout your lifetime. When you come to the good fountain, the right source, your objectives and motives will be set immediately; you will want what God wants and want it for the reason God wants it. There is no greater secret to continuing to live the good life than to learn to speak the good language. We begin to speak as common men when we confess our weakness, pain and situation but when we are born again, we boldly speak our Father’s language as commonly as unbelievers speak their doubt, fear, hatred and affliction. Are you spending your time with the right source, Jesus of Nazareth?
