The legend poetically admonished man to create his reality, create his future, and that destiny is what we make happened, not something that is imposed upon us. Furthermore, a bastion of freedom (LATE CHIEF GANI FAWEHINMI SAN) in his deep and abiding belief in the power of liberty, education, justice and equity, also admonished us that it is only when we turn our point of inquiry inward and attempt to realize our true self as a profound mystery of immense potential for good, that we come to the threshold of perceiving God. Yes! We believe God for a change in an acclaimed God’s own State, but faith without work is a total sacrilege in its entirety. We all must stand out and make a total condemnation to our state parliament; they should receive the substantial chunk of the blame of a failed state. We should spring to our feet and deliver a condemnation of their ethical shortcomings, allowing us to be living on tips and nickels for many years, allowing the state to be stolen by malfeasance, human error and arrogance. You would agree with me that the birth of our State Assembly has been a harrowing, gut wrenching nightmare, 15 years shrouded with conflicting symptoms and prognoses. Our representatives are bunch of mediocre and sycophants who are insensitive to our plights and are there for their self aggrandizement and enrichment. They need to be flushed out intoto. It starts with you. Their “legislative ignoramus” has left Abia State on the brink of extinction; it is widely classified as endangered specie and has to be afforded a higher class of protection. It is on this note that the youths have enlisted half-dozen experts from around the country to fight on her behalf.
