THE MENTOR TO THE MENTEES 1Ti_1:10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; 2Ti_4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; Tit_1:9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. Tit_2:1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: Saving faith can never be cultivated in a sea of unsound doctrine. But what is “sound doctrine”? It is teaching that is biblically true, using the whole counsel of scripture as it’s foundation. Deu_19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established. Repeated twice in the new covenant….. Mat_18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 2Co_13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. What part of “two or three witnesses”, don’t the modernists understand? They love one word cliché’s, half sentence quotes, texts out of context, and truth that excludes truth. Fads and heresies grow up in this sewer of fermented leaven. Philosophy and psycology, ie, what seems good, has replaced truth carved in stone by the very finger of HAYAH (I AM). Small wonder they are not ESTABLISHED in sound doctrine that leads to healthy living faith, and daily repentance from the heart. They are established in “love thy preacher”, but not in love thy neighbor. The pastor rides around to show dates in a jet plane, while the sheep go hungry, spiritually and physically. Here’s a quick example….. 1Co_15:29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead? It would seem that in Paul’s day, there was a “proxy baptism”, for folks already dead. It’s right here in the Bible, written by Paul himself. I’m really surprised that there isn’t a so called church denomination today, that its existence is not based on the formulation of a doctrine built on this text alone. There are no other witnesses in scripture for this “practice”. Paul is not advocating or renouncing it here in this text. So biblically, we have no other evidence, and therefore only one witness to base such a “practice” on. Bible “truth” would be unsound doctrine because of the lack of two or three witnesses. But, if making it up as you go alone is acceptable, and it is to virtually millions of so called Christians, then condemning a group for practicing baptism for the dead would be unsound. “Leave them alone, its in the bible”, they would say. Where oh where, pray tell, is the watchman at the gate? Not only is he not there, he’s not even allowed on the premises. The gates that guard the city are not open, they’ve been torn down. Broaden the road, increase the commerce, and of course, the income. “Church” is a business, plain and simple. The remnant knows this. And when a “body” becomes a “business”, most folks call that “prostitution”. And that is exactly what it is. SPIRITUAL PROSTITUTION! WHOREDOM. The “Church of Rome” established it, and the protestants “re-formed it”. But it is still the great WHORE of revelation. Why? Because tradition took precedence over SOUND DOCTRINE. I heard the devils mouth speak this with my own ears. Kenneth Copeland said, “we don’t need doctrine, all we need is love”. Is that……right? Well, we know the love the Copelands have. It is the love of money. Money that is gained by marketing lies and deception advertised as truth that appeals to the flesh. Without sound doctrine, we have no truth. They can’t stand sound doctrine because it’s truth exposes their lies for what they really are, LIES. But oh the unconverted church loves it so. Selah.
