THE PICTURE OF JESUS Surely the Christian world would be more like Christ and humanity would have more than a religion and one God, without the Complicated and absurd disquisitions about the Son of Man , if we had an authentic portrait of Jesus , tracing as Figure of Sarcophagus at the dawn of Christianity, when still Ages kept alive the memory of the personal circumstances of physiognomy and clothing of the Reformer . Religious Doubts and perplexities come from the lack of Personal Data of Figure DIVINIZED Positively by Christianity , For while the New Religion predominated in the Jewish Element not there any of Jesus, by which He inspired horror All Plastic Image Representation , as were taught Chaldeans . So would Held by sacrilegious irreverence any representation of his Master. In the days of Tertullian, the only valid Effigy of Jesus was an allegory of the Good Shepherd, who , however , not represented physiognomically therefore was reduced to a figure of man with Head Jackal, as Anubis, and the Rescued Sheep to Shoulder ( 110). This figure , as King says , had Two Meanings : 1 - Exoteric , For Vulgo . 2 - Esoteric For the Initiate . And may be the seal or any Apostle Superior Adept Class ( 111).
