THE POWER OF VISION 2 Corinthians 4:18 - “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” It is common to see that our troubles came upon us by surprise because we lacked the anointing or vision to prepare for them. We need not be ignorant of satan’s schemes because while the present only is ours, God owns and lives in the future. When you are born again, you would receive a prophetic picture of the future you desire, not the future you fear. Nothing would transform your life like seeing the vision of your future state as if it already were. Joseph saw the vision of his future state and he was able to endure the dry pit, slavery and imprisonment and overcome seven years of famine. Abraham saw the vision of his future state and was able to break the yoke of barrenness and become the father of nations. Stephen saw the vision of his future state and conquer the temptation of bodily pain and fear of death to gain the kingdom of God. It is ridiculous to allow what is seen, felt or heard to cause you to doubt the fulfilment of God’s promise in your life. God is faithful and powerful to His faithful followers. When we walk by sight, we do not need faith and when we walk by faith, we do not need sight. The issue is that we do not see then believe; we believe first, then we see. As a result of our believing, we see. See what? God infinitely more powerful and angels uncountabley more numerous than our adversary. As a Christian, you must know the protection you are under. We must awake to the fact that Jesus said we must believe. If you can believe, worry and anxiety will vanish.
