THE STORY OF THE PENNY RING: Here is a penny ring [as I adjust the size and slip it on your pinkie]. It has a special year on it, but don’t look at it yet. When you do look at that year I want you to think of a really great thing that happened to you that year. Usually that really great thing is one of two things. It’s usually something that you had procrastinated on, but you finally kicked yourself in the butt and DID IT. And it turned out beautiful and amazing and you wondered why you had procrastinated so long on finally doing it. OR it’s something that you were afraid to do and worried about doing, the fear of the unknown, but you finally took a deep breath and LEAPED and again it turned out beautiful and amazing. You wondered why you had been so afraid to do it to begin with. Sometimes it can take you a few days to think of your story and that’s ok. This is YOUR story because you’re going to take this story to today and into the future. You either already are, or will be, in a similar situation: procrastinating on something or afraid to do something. This ring and your story will remind you that if you hadn’t turned left then, instead of turning right, then you wouldn’t be who you are now and where you are now. You wouldn’t be the wonderful person that you are now surrounded by a loving community. Your ring and your story will remind you of this and allow you to tell yourself to move forward.
