THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE IS THE VOICE OF GOD My Dear Constituents, The journey to this end has been very eventful; a mixture of the good, the bad and the ugly. We tried our best in the PDP. My achievement as a Local Government Chairman under the party P.D.P which I helped to found and nurture is unprecedented. Along the way some of my colleagues colluded with power forces to frustrate some of us out of the party. Consequently, I along with other stakeholders and compatriots decided to pursue our common political beliefs (which is to free our people from stronghold of poverty and slavery) using another platform; The APC. You are all witnesses to our efforts at building a virile political party. We are able through your various efforts, to bring APC to strong political relevance in Kogi State. Alas! They struck again to thwart our efforts again in the APC. Even in the face of these provocations, I have chosen to be calm, law abiding and even refused to identify enemies. However, I have accepted the various voices of wisdom and clarion calls not to abandon the collective aspiration of my constituents who are also bewildered by the current political manure in the party. As a democrat, I have been known to identify myself with openness, fairness, fair-play and due process throughout my political sojourn. Having consulted widely with you (my constituents), I have no choice than to agree to continue our common struggle using another platform, this time The ACCORD PARTY. It is a painful decision it is worth the struggle. I am not under any illusion that the contest is going to be easy; but I am strongly convinced that since I am representing the common philosophy and aspiration of my people I fear no failure. The voice of people is the voice of God. This is the time more than any other, that I sincerely need your unflinching supports and prayers. It is our job, we must do it together. My fellow Yagba people, my teeming supporters and well-wishers I want you to believe that, with God and under your watchful eyes, the forces of evil can never subjugate the good spirit of light.
