THE WAY OUT Every one of us is passing through one or the other tough or painful situation and is looking for the way out. Many times we feel overwhelmed by the many battles we are fighting and we just cannot see the way out. It is therefore important to stop and think, “Am I in the place where God wants me to be? Or do I find myself in a place without purpose where my weakness controls me?” We should not tempt satan to tempt us by giving our attention to things that nurse our weaknesses. No one can say, “No” to sin without the help of the Holy Spirit. The greatest battle is in our heart. If you succeed, you have already succeeded in your heart. If you fail, you have already failed in your heart. Therefore, to live an overcoming life, stand for what is right and focus on those things that edify your spirit. How? We are made spiritual by living in the Word and by the Word living in us. Genesis 4:6 “If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.” Therefore, we should not be carnally minded and be ruled by our fleshly desires. Rather, our mind and bodies should be our servants and not our master – This is the way out!
