THERE IS TREMENDOUS BENEFIT IN PLEASING THE LORD BUT DO YOU REALLY CARE TO PLEASE GOD IN YOUR LIVING?!! Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him. And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. 1 John 3:21-23 NIV When our hearts do not condemn us, then our consciences are clear and we have confidence to approach the Throne of Grace to ask whatever we desire. This is because we are obedient to His Commandments and please Him in our daily living! What is His Command? Just simply to believe in the Name of Jesus Christ, His Son; and to love one another as He Commanded! Who cares? Well, I do! Please o Lord, Help me to serve You diligently and conscientiously in Jesus Name. Amen!!! Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:9,10 NASB Believers ought to have an ambition; to please God, whether at home or absent. There will be judgment for all. For we shall all appear at the Judgment Seat of Jesus Christ to receive our rewards for our thoughts, words and deeds whilst in the body (good or bad)!!! For one is approved if, mindful of God, he endures pain while suffering unjustly. For what credit is it, if when you do wrong and are beaten for it you take it patiently? But if when you do right and suffer for it you take it patiently, you have Gods approval. For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. 1 Peter 2:19-21 RSV Approval by God for anyone is about how much the person can endure pain with the mind of God when suffering unjustly. Who can endure this way? That is a test of true faith; not avoiding or praying against suffering! Alas! Wrong teaching endures! When you do right and suffer for it and you take it with patience because you know that God Will Make it alright, then you have Gods Approval! This is following Jesus Christs example! Are you following Jesus example? Who is your role model?!! He answered, The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. Matthew 13:36 (NIVUK) In the parable of the sower, the sower of good seeds is the Son of Man (Jesus Christ)! The world is the field. The good seed are the children of the Kingdom of God whilst the weeds are the children of the evil one (believe that both exist in this world), the seeds of which are sown by the devil! The harvest is the end of the age/time and the angels of God are the harvesters! O Lord, Help my family and I and all who truly are Yours to be amongst the Kingdom seeds to be harvested unto the Lord Jesus Christ at the end in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (1) Now when the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, Come, make us gods that shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him. (2) And Aaron said to them, Break off the golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me. (3) So all the people broke off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aaron. (4) And he received the gold from their hand, and he fashioned it with an engraving tool, and made a molded calf. Then they said, This is your god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt! (5) So when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it. And Aaron made a proclamation and said, Tomorrow is a feast to the LORD. (6) Then they rose early on the next day, offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. (7) And the LORD said to Moses, Go, get down! For your people whom you brought out of the land of Egypt have corrupted themselves. (8) They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them. They have made themselves a molded calf, and worshiped it and sacrificed to it, and said, This is your god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt! Exodus 32:1-8 How quickly peoples faith can be destroyed without constant encouragement and feeding. If you are being fed, please appreciate it; if not, learn to feed for yourself. As believers we ought to appreciate and encourage each other as iron sharpens iron for mutual sustenance in the faith in Jesus Name. For maturity is about learning to feed yourself spiritually based on lessons learnt from those who fed you before. I do not want to bow to any idols in my life o Lord; feed me till I want no more o Lord in Jesus Name. Amen!!!
