If the call is that important, theyll call you back or forget it. This is doubly true is the person calling doesnt bother to leave you a message. Most business calls will leave a recorded message & if its that important, your family members & friends will definitely leave you a message. Personally, 4 times within the last week, Ive gotten phone calls from a phone number that came up as 500600 on my caller id. With this in mind, here are area codes to which you SHOULD NOT return calls. Heres the breakdown for these numbers & their locales... 242 - Bahamas 246 - Barbados 264 - Anguilla 268 - Antigua 284 – British Virgin Islands 345 - Cayman Islands 441 - Bermuda 473 - Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique 649 - Turks and Caicos 664 - Montserrat 758 - St Lucia 767 – Dominica 784 - St. Vincent & Grenadines 809, 829, 849 - Dominican Republic 868 - Trinidad and Tobago 869 - St. Kitts & Nevis 876 - Jamaica These NON-Canadian numbers are international phone numbers & the charges ARE NOT regulated by our laws. And they can charge you all kinds of outrageous rates. Let a word to the wise be sufficient!
