THIS MORNING : Police helicopters are shooting at Lapland residents who refuse to be evicted from their home. The municipality through the hands of the police will forcibly evict 405 FAMILIES off of a piece of land in Lapland in Nelson Mandela Bay without any alternative land to relocate to. Some are old, some are sick, some are school-going children who live in these shacks. Our efforts to halt this eviction has fell on deaf ears. This brutality of the ANC/COSATU/SACP regime needs to be pulled out by the root. Please show solidarity and support and help us stop this sickening pattern of disgusting human rights abuses.EFF Fighters are risking their freedom and safety to reach out and protect the community. Please also inform any media, reporters or journalists. This disgraceful behaviour CANNOT and WILL NOT be tolerated any further. We shall not rest until every living person has the land that rightfully belongs to them.
