TO ALL : A VERY SPECIAL POST - THE 60 DAY PERFORMANCE OR NON PERFORMANCE OF THE BJP GOVERNMENT - READ THIS WITHOUT FAIL - THE BITTER PILLS AND MEDICINE WOULD NEVER SEEM TO END As I promised I have posted the BJP’s 60 day performance in office, and I had posted their performance upon they completing their 30 days and now it is a full 60 days, I maintain a compendium of their acts and let me commence -The First thing I would like to mention is the Rail fare hike, the passenger fare hike and the Customs duty hike, now all this was done before the budget was placed on July 8th and 10th respectively, it was steep, and instead of incorporating it into the budget, they announced it before , otherwise the budget would have been unpopular and not merely lack lusture as it was. -It is only during this period that the rupee had the sharpest fall and the USD was at the highest , The RBI did not interfere and instead let it to the market mechanism to determine the rates -WSPI ( Whole sale price Index) is at 5.03 % now and inflation is all time high , the prices of vegetables, oil, edibles and other vitals for the common man has sky rocketed that many of them have resorted to buying from wholesalers. -There is nothing announced on the Food Security Ordinance, nor how the PDS is going to revamped to implement it, the Food security ordinance has been accepted by the BJP Government but it has not done anything on this front so far -Now coming to the Union Budget and not the Rail Budget which was dismal except for announcing new trains and the state of West Bengal being not considered. the union budget was a fiasco , I had posted 6 Parts on the Budget covering all aspects, they were grandoise plans, but nothing except for a marginal relief to the salaried class and Senior citizens was announced, there was nothing for the agricultural sector, Industrial sector and SME’s and Cottage Industries -The joke about the Budget was the setting up of and mega projects, but the Finance e Minister failed to say how the money would be raised when the fiscal defect is above 4 % of the total expected Gross Receipts, but the setting up of IIM’s and IIT’s is to be seen whether it would materialize. -There was nothing significant for the development of the North East and Women Empowerment, and Gujarat and MP are the states which had benefitted more compared to other states in this budget. -Barring the waiving of ED on a few things to the Packaging Industry in Particular and reducing the cost of match boxes, what on earth did it have for the common man? -The Government proposes to introduce bullet trains , each train is about 60,000 Crores and infrastructure for it would be highly expensive, at this cost the entire country could be liked by Shatabdi express -Who on earth wants a SAARC satellite? And why does India have to invest for it, in any case the other SAARC countries are not going to agree. -They still propose to go ahead with the Quadrangular diamond project ( While the Quadrangular project is nearly implemented ) - In all the three above where on earth is the money coming from? The states would not allocate any as they have a deficit budget too, and the Government states that FDI is being permitted in the these sectors -The reverse repatriation of money in June – July has been the highest, with the BJP’s stance on no FDI would be permitted on retail and 100 % in other sectors , the reverse repatriation was the highest in June – July -The Finance Ministry announced that Black Money was unearthed during the UPA regime running into several crores, but not a paisa of Black money has been uncovered in this regime -The SHRC in its report has stated that thare has been a 5 fold increase in inhuman treatment in Gujarat. -Gopal Subramaniam is not appointed as a SC judge even after the collegiums recommended his candidature, instead the lawyer of Amit Shah becomes a Judge. Vendetta Politics as Gopal Subramniam was the amicus curie in the Fake encounter case and the Gulbarg society case and he trashed the SIT’s investigation and clean chit and submitted his independent report to the Supreme Court. - The BJP elects Amit Shah the biggest criminal as referred by the Supreme court and which banished him from Gujarat for 2 years and imprisoned him as its President. -The most corrupt party namely the “ Congress” as referred to by the BJP and the AAP have rather agreed to form an Govt in Delhi as the Supreme Court Constitutional bench would decree against the LT Governor, if they join hands and collude with most corrupt party which the BJP maintained all along , how are they different then, they too are hand in glove, isn’t that so ? -Arun Jailey makes a big faux pas in presenting the Delhi Budget, upon completion of his address he mentioned things totally contrary to the budget, spare him he is not an economist. -Subramaniam’s swamy’s speech against the Christians and the Church is cognizable under law and a person has come forward to file a FIR against him under the provisions of Sec 153 of the IPC as it has offended the religious sentiments of the Christians. -Modi’s talk in Brazil to the Chinese did not yield anything, the Chinese refused to discuss about Arunachal Pradesh, and all what was agreed was to foster better economic ties and to avoid border skirmishes. That’s all. The territorial dispute remains -Since This Govt took over the cross infiltration and the cross border shellings were the highest with Pakistan. -The BJP has embarked on a utopian strategy and that is to win WB from Mamta and the Communists, the Trade unions are being approached, I do not know whether they are aware that the trade unions in WB are the CITU which is predominant and a dent is virtually impossible. -The Aadhar Card was promised by them to be scrapped as it was their pre election agenda and they campaigned a lot against it, and now they say that the Aadhar card is there to stay -The Governor of UP in his infamous and unbefitting statement of a Governor states that “ Rapes can be prevented only if Gods descend down on earth “ -The selling and disinvestment of 3 Million USD in ONGC which forms part of the Government’s stake is not justifiable by the Government as the Oil Companies are highly profitable. None knows the rationale behind this. -Courts exempts Amit Shah from personal appearance in the criminal charges against him, but he is not absolved, the trial goes on. -The Supreme Court directs the SIT to submit all investigation papers to it on the Fake encounter case and the Gulbarg Society case and the matter is on appeal with the Ahmedabad high court. -Arun Jaitley who vociferously demanded that the papers on the Chinese aggression should be de classified does a total u – turn and says it can’t be done so as it is highly classified. -The Government has done nothing for the armed forces and the defense personnel including the OROP ( One Rank 1 One Pension ) -Human Rights and Freedom of Speech is being choked discreetly without a doubt, the government through the NIA is collecting a data base of critics. -Ban of Cow Bones and Fat defeated by the BJP in their own state Government -Reliance slapped with a penalty of 579 crores , the total penalty as on date is 2379 Cores , but Reliance is not bothered about it as the dual pricing in Gas and the proposed Gas hike would help them to tide over this. A farce by the Government. -The Supreme court rules that Sharia courts have no legal sanction, but the Government did not file a review petition at least for common law issues, Rajiv Gandhi’s Government did it in on Shah Bano’s case and won -The Planning Commission redefines people below the poverty line as ones who earn Rs 47 a day in urban areas and Rs 32 a day in Rural areas. -2 BJP MP’s face criminal charges , one on burglary, and the other on alleged rape ( who is also a minister incidentally ), and one Sena MP on force feeding a Muslim in this holy month of Ramadan -Vaidik meeting Hafeez Saeed is the greatest Anti National Act and it was backed by the RSS and the Government had knowledge of it. He is not arrested and the government is protecting him. -Modi’s absolute silence on anything is intruding and the foreign press namely the Washington Post and the BBC International have questioned it too ( I have posted this elaborately ) -Sania Mirza’s Loyalty to this nation is being questioned, she remains an Indian and her allegiance is to India, these people do not know the distinction apparently between sports and politics. -Total silence on the Gaza massacres by the Government, and Sushma even refused to condemn the Israelis stating that the Israelis and Palestinians are good friends of India and India would not interfere, but bowing to public and International pressure the government has condemned the act of the Israelis at last today. -Justice Katju’s allegation is rather orchestrated , Asho Kumar was absolved and three CJI’s have said that Katju is trying to get a popularity out of it, he was rather a pro UPA judge but now he has switched sides, and god knows what has been promised to him, his tweet are in favor of the BJP, but if he was a true judge worth his salt , why did he not say it 10 years back and chose to say now, He has been orchestrated and manipulated, it is clear. -BJP MP says that black money stashed abroad cannot be brought back, but Jaitley says the French have been approached, what happened to the Swiss authorities? They have long before denied giving information and the Government has not approached the banking authorities in other tax havens such as the Isle of Mann, British Virgin Islands (BVI) and Gibraltar. -No Policies on any subject whether it be Industrial, Agriculture, telecom, defense or anything else has been placed or rolled out. -The attempt to remove Governors was met with stiff resistance and instead of removing those who did not oblige ( as the President would oppose ), they shifted them or retained them -The BJP undergoes defeat in the Uttharkhand by polls and have lost seats to the Congress which they held, the Modi frenzy , obsession or the viral which the common man had during the election time is dead and gone In all the above do you see anything for the betterment of the common man or his livelihood and betterment, NOTHING WHATSOVER ! And they don’t seem to realize that priorities for the citizens prevail over vanity and mega projects. A Directionless Government and totally inept The electorate in Indiia is undoubtedly awakening itself to the greatest blunder it made in electing them. JAI HIND
