Were talking a lotta dog and a lotta personality here and while hes a friendly boy with a loving soul, hes not meant for the faint of heart. Truffle is looking for an adopter whos a connoisseur, someone with the experience and love to take this playful diamond-in-the-rough and polish his friendly manners til they shine bright as that gorgeous red coat. Though he does pull on leash initially, a quick switch to a harness and he walks like an enthusiastic pro, using the facilities and sniff sniff sniffing (and occasionally tasting!) everything he can lay his nose on. He sits for treats and takes them nicely from my hand and its clear that in addition to keeping him in tip-top physical shape, his former owners did take the time to teach him some manners, just not the whole playbook. Truffle is a bit of a ladies man and he really enjoys spending time with his female counterparts, interacting nicely with them in playgroup and passing them politely in the hall. However he really doesnt like to share the spotlight with other male dogs and will need a firm hand and additional training to adjust his attitude when near other boys. A good-hearted, dog savvy adopter is the key to realizing Truffles true potential and I hope this handsome guy meets his perfect match soon.
