TODAY-3/13 MURDER ALERT!!!!!*****HELP LUSIE LIVE*******VOLUNTEER FAVORITE!!!! LUSIE VOLUNTEER FAVORITE BUNNY-DOGGIE ~ WILL BE KILLED TODAY!!!! Dogs dont come cuter than this little low-rider, Lusie. she is a volunteer favorite and is hoping to find a foster or adopter to save her life, TONIGHT. A volunteer writes: I LOVE LUSIE! Lusie is a low riding, bunny-eared, little lady with a lot of love to give. When I first went to walk Lusie, she was at the back of her cage and very hesitant to take any steps in my direction. After a bunch of treats and sweet talking, we were off! At first Lusie walked with her tail tucked and was still a bit leery of me, but midway through our walk she had a change of heart and out came the sweetest, most affectionate dog. She LOVES to be pet and has many tactics to ensure all of her favorite spots get some attention...rubbing against me like a cat, burrowing under my leg, propping her paws on my lap... and, of course, the old reliable belly rub! Lusie is very playful, especially after receiving affection... she gets very excited and wants to zoom around. When we have encountered other dogs Lusie seems very interested, but friendly and waggy. She seems to have some house training, takes treats gently, and knows sit. Lusie has the CUTEST face and has even shown me a submissive smile! While she is no longer shell-shocked at BACC, Lusie would be so happy to find the home she SO deserves!
