Theme: Newness In Type And Quality By Pastor Anita Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life- (Romans 6:4). The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 5:17, Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. The Greek rendering of the phrase, a new creation, actually means a new species of being! It doesn’t just refer to a new life in terms of timing; that is to say, a life that has just begun. It means newness in type and quality. A new creation is a new type of man; he’s one of a kind that never existed before! He’s not subject to Satan, and doesn’t need deliverance.
