TODAY’S FRESH BREAD (BECAUSE OF JESUS) Genesis 39:2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. In his distress and pain, God was with Joseph and he was a prosperous man. It is the presence of God that makes the difference. The book of Acts tells of Paul experiencing a shipwreck. He never showed any fear or panic because of one thing. He knew that God was with him and the sea was too small to sink him. When you know and believe that Jesus Christ is with you, your problem becomes too small to break you down. The devil feels useless and disorganized when he sees that you still hold to your faith that Jesus loves you and is still with you even in your distress and difficulty. When you believe that God is still with you, your focus shifts from the problem to the solution (Jesus). It is not long fastings and long prayers that solves the problem. It is not the number of prophets that pray for you or anything that you do. It is the presence of Jesus that breaks the yoke and sets you free, and that presence has been with you since you believed in Him The presence of God was not on Joseph because he was good. Before Joseph could do any known good deed, the Bible said, “And the LORD was with Joseph”. The Lord was with Joseph because of the Covenant God made with His great grandfather, Abraham. God was with Joseph because of Abraham. He is a covenant keeping God. God is with you because of Jesus and His New Covenant. The God is with you because of the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The God is with you because of Jesus. He never leaves you because He never gets dissatisfied or angry with Jesus. He is forever pleased with Jesus Christ and so are you. It is not you, it is Christ Jesus. You are forever full of His presence, therefore, you are a prosperous person….... Good Morning
