TOPIC: COVENANT APPOINTMENT (3) READ: 2 KINGS 17:13-18 TEXT: And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger. (2 Kings 17:17). RHEMA In the covenant, God has appointed and ordained righteousness. Every unrighteous weapon is defiled before the righteous in the covenant. The church must realise and realised very fast that we have been eternally ordained with righteous appointment with God in the covenant. The Scripture says, “The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe” (Proverbs 18:10). There is more than enough safety in God. We are born again into Christ to live for Him eternally. December is usually a season when some Christians go into serious religious and traditional activities. Yes, it is a celebrative season because it is a miracle to see the beginning of the year through the end of the year; but we must be covenant conscious. So many married couples often forget that they are married. Many parents place their seasonal celebrative expectation without any show of concern on the plight and destiny of their children’s family. Their actions and traditional worldly demand place their children’s home on fire. Our text says, “(a) And they cause their sons and their daughters to pass through fire. (b) They employ the weapon of divination and enchantment to manipulate their righteous reasoning out of the covenant. (c) They sold their heart to do evil against the covenant and God of the covenant.” Look at the consequences of these evil acts, “Therefore the LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of His sight: There was none left but the tribe of Judah only” (2 Kings 17:18). Any internal or external power that has been appointed to move you out of divine appointment shall be shamefully disappointed this month. Your head and your spirit shall not answer to evil call or manipulation, in Jesus name. You will stand out like the tribe of Judah in the midst of all odds, in Jesus name. Refuse, reject and despise anything that is set up to put you into trouble. Insist that God and your immediate family shall come first. Peace. WISDOM WATCH = You either keep a righteous appointment or unrighteousness. What you see daily is a proof of where you are standing. = Believe God for total freedom from any force or power standing between you and your family. = Join us this evening by 5.00pm for revival meeting. PRAYERS = DECREE: O LORD my God, any power, standing between me and my family to divide us against the will of God, receive double tribulation and be destroyed, in Jesus name. = DECREE: My LORD and my God, any force or power, internally or externally, tampering with the peace of my family, the LORD is against you, be exposed, disgraced and destroyed, in Jesus name. = DECREE: Any power that has demonically vowed to see my end and the end of my family this year, I shall see your end, in Jesus name. = DECREE: By the power of God, I command every agent of death, remotely troubling my life, my marriage and finances, to receive double tribulation of divine judgement, in Jesus name. = DECREE: By the anointing of the LORD, I and my family are preserved and empowered to finish 2014 well with unusual testimonies, in Jesus name.
