Taking a short break from the election campaign to talk on a more personal level about the Justice League Headquarters up at Cozy Corner. I have some questions I am looking into to verify if people are being hypocritical or not. I know the JLL is not an all inclusive establishment so I want to find some feed back outside my own inquiries. I notice they started operating the book store and winery beyond that taste testing the wine, do they have a full fledge liquor license to serve such as a bar? They started serving pizza and various foods, do they have a license to serve food along with a health inspection. Because if they are charging for any of it, they better be properly licensed to such. The reason I bring this up is not to necessarily bring harm to the business but to ensure that everyone is playing out of the same rule book. Since the Fire Chief and his councilman Sister own and operate the place. I think an establishment of this nature to be a good thing for the community if operated accordingly. However, I dont believe it is operated accordingly. If it was a true bar and licensed to serve patrons there are guidelines for when to cut people off from over indulgence. One patron in particular wasnt afforded that opportunity like a professional bar keep would provide. This gentlemen became intoxicated and inadvertently exposed himself and as such, the councilwoman filed a complaint and this individual was offered to be allowed to resign is police commission with Louisiana or be fired. Now would a true bar keep do that to their patron? I believe that an injustice was served upon this police officer for whatever reason I dont know. But I do know the nepotism in City Hall is rampant with this family and they may feel they are above the rules that normal business owners are obligated to follow. So I will be contacting all the departments and licensing offices to verify everything I appropriate and on the up and up. This officer was one of the few good guys we had here, it is a shame they made an example of him for whatever reason.
