Jay Charness, (whose daughter Ayla who has lived with ITP for 8 1/2 years) also facilitates this segment of the call. PARENTS SEGMENT: Parents discuss the daily challenges of managing life with a child with ITP. Topics include: both the challenges the kids face and the challenges parents face in managing ITP, treatments, school, vacations, hematologists, nurses, and siblings are some examples but the list is infinite. Its a meeting for families, driven by families. The agenda is set by its members and provides and open, casual, informative, complimentary meeting place.
