I signed up to be a baker for icing smiles..Its a group of bakers that bake cakes and donate them for critically ill children..The child picks out a cake that they would love to have and then the group contacts a baker to see who can make it in their area...We also have the choice of delivering it in person to the child (either at the hospital or home where ever they may be) There is no money involved by doing this and I do pay for all the supplies to make the cake and gas to deliver it..But to see a smile on a childs face that has been through so much is worth more than anyone could pay me for a cake... And also Grannys Closet is going to go with me (if she is available) when I deliver the cake..She will dress like the childs favorite charter and help me deliver it smile emoticon
