Teta has made the trek to Liberia safely. We traveled to the Cedar Rapids Airport on snow and ice covered roads. We passed snow plows sending blinding, billowing snow everywhere - it was tense at times but we got her there safely. Teta called this morning to give a report on the government inspection today. All is going well and we have passed the inspection. All we needed to do is add toilet paper and more bath soap to our pantry. The favor of God was with us as they can be very brutal when it comes to the inspections. Some orphanages have been fined up to $10,000.00 and shut down in our area because they did not have adaquate supplies for the children. Our focus for this trip to Liberia is for Teta to oversee construction on the office building. The building will come to life as they finish the brick work, install widows and bars, add some of the doors as well as the rafters and zinc roof on the building. Yes, we are making progress.
