My top ten books (in no particular order): 1 The Lord of the Rings Trilogy 2 The Harry Potter series 3 Anything by Terry Pratchett, but The Wyrd Sisters or Wintersmith probably my favourite 4 The Wolf Brother series by Michelle Paver (brilliant!) 5 The Abhorsen Trilogy by Garth Nix 6 My Family and Other Animals by Gerald Durrell 7 The Gormenghast Trilogy by Mervyn Peake 8 The Man Whose Mother Was a Pirate by Margaret Mahy (read so many times to my children!!!) 9 The Dark is Rising series by Susan Cooper 10 Hmmm... Has to be the forthcoming Shout Kernow by Hilary Coleman and Sally Burley!!! :) Oh, can I have another one? The Weirdstone of Brisingamen, and all Alan Garners other novels. Now Ive got started I could go on forever! I love books!
