Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers. So here is how today went... All done. Had to do a bit more than any of us bargained for. Gotta love hockey knees. But my surgeon was a legend and I am feeling okay now. Not so great post op with the anesthetic and the pain combined i was very disoriented and nauseous but morphine helped the pain at least. Got a visit from my girls Stephanie and Trollerova and a hello kitty balloon to make me smile too which is always nice to wake up to visitors. So blessed to have friends that will drop anything to be there as I would for them. Thanks again Stephy, you really looked after me, from drop offs at sparrows fart oclock, visits, pick ups with white chocolate and wheel chair in tow and even cancelled some of her own plans to be with me today just to check im still breathing. Top class. Got calls from South Africa from the folks so was tearful (standard) Also got snuck a quick call from Wayne which made my WHOLE WEEK. Cant keep my eyes open for long and very dazed and in a fair bit of pain. But... Looking forward to having a semi decent knee. Thats my story... Thanks again all. Night night. xxx 💕💕💕
