Thank you all for your prayers. Peace and security are coming back into the area slowly by slowly. I am seeing more and more people returning back to their homes. Joint patrols of South Sudanese and Uganda military/law enforcement are here and along the border to maintain the peace and look for stolen items, mainly cows. Late yesterday I was asked to give a patrol of 9 a ride to town (about 5 miles away) and was happy to do it. They were exhausted and were going to have to walk all the way back. It was a good relations builder and they were all eager to get gospel tracts. A lead military commander said in military fashion to me yesterday, You preach peace to these people! The gospel is the gospel of peace and is the only way people can overcome tribalism or any ism. Staying put and being a refuge for people in danger has given us further opportunities in sharing the gospel. Your prayers opened a way for us and granted us protection in the midst of the deadly strife all around us. We know the Lord has called us to live for him here on the border as His ambassadors and we could not do it without the faithful prayers and financial support of His people! Thank you!
