Thanks for the add. My accident happened on May 31st, 2014 when I jumped off a bridge into a river and hit a rock a few feet under the surface. My right heel was shattered and my left was cracked clean in half in addition to a torn ACL in my left knee. My right foot was amputated below the knee because the doctors couldnt find all the bone fragments or do a full reconstruction to it. I was given my prosthetic and went to rehab at the end of September last year and am finally up and moving without problems (except my left foot). Still trying to learn all the tips and tricks to having a prosthesis and my wife has been a member of this page for awhile now and got a lot of good info and tips from the members here. I live on an Army base since my wife is still active, as was I years ago, but amputees are few and far between at this particular post, so I was looking to find a decent group of people looking for support or that would like some input if I could help in any way.
